Wes Streeting appointed to UK defence minister

Wes Streeting has been appointed as UK defence minister by Prime Minister Andy Burnham. Streeting previously served as health secretary and facilitated access for Palantir, a US tech firm with links to Israel's actions in Palestine, to NHS patient data while withholding contract details. Yvette Cooper, a former foreign secretary, will take over as health secretary.
