Chess champion Judit Polgar rejects offer to become Hungary’s president

Judit Polgar, a chess legend, rejected an offer from Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar to become the country’s president. Magyar had proposed her as a non-political figure to lead efforts against Viktor Orban’s long-standing leadership. Polgar stated she did not feel capable of handling the responsibility.
