Father faces felony child abuse charge after infant suffers 14 fractured ribs

A 19-year-old father, Christian Brooks, was charged with felony child abuse after his 2-month-old son sustained 14 fractured ribs. Brooks confessed to squeezing the infant during a moment of frustration when the child would not stop crying, according to a police affidavit. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
