CJP-led body decides to recommend constitutional tweak to govt for establishment of international commercial court

The Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan recommended a constitutional amendment to establish an International Commercial Court of Pakistan. The proposed court aims to resolve international commercial disputes efficiently, strengthen arbitral awards enforcement, and boost investor confidence. The commission also proposed amendments to the Banking Companies Ordinance to extend consumer protection to microfinance customers.
