Logitech distributor in China fined US$30,000 for offensive ad calling customers dogs
A Logitech distributor in China, Shanghai Baishide Electronics Company, was fined 200,000 yuan (US$30,000) for an insulting advertisement that likened consumers to dogs. The market supervisory authority in Shanghai’s Jingan district imposed the penalty in late June for an offensive ad promoting a Logitech mouse.
