Malian Army Convoy Ambushed by Tuareg Separatists Near Strategic Anefis
A Malian Army convoy was ambushed by Tuareg separatists of the Front de Libération de l’Azawad (FLA) and al-Qaeda-linked JNIM near Tabankort on the Kidal–Anefis–Gao axis in northern Mali. The attack resulted in at least 50 Malian soldiers killed and heavy losses.
