The World Trade Bridge in Laredo, Texas, the busiest inland commercial port on the Southwest border, was temporarily closed this weekend due to dislodged federal buoys piling up under its pylons. The state’s circular border buoy string in Eagle Pass remained in position and has not floated downriver.
