US service member killed in northern Iraq, US Central Command says
A U.S. service member was killed during a controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian drone in northern Iraq. Two other U.S. service members were killed in Jordan from an Iranian missile and drone attack, with four others evacuated for medical treatment. A third service member's remains were later identified, and the total U.S. casualties in the war with Iran now number 18.
