At least eight dead, 15 hurt in Nagaland landslide

Heavy rainfall and a cloudburst triggered a landslide in Nagaland's Mon town, killing at least eight people and injuring 15. The state government announced ex-gratia payments of ₹4 lakh for families of the deceased and ₹74,000 for each injured person.
