3 killed, driver charged after hit-and-run in Salisbury

Three people were killed in a hit-and-run crash in Salisbury, with the driver of a second vehicle, Javiel Pena Sola, charged with three counts of felony hit and run involving serious injury or death. The crash occurred near Mooresville Road, and the second vehicle was found in a creek bed after a search with the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s K-9 team.
