Tulsi Gabbard’s brother accused of inviting children to hotel room, offering money, police say
Batari Gabbard was arrested and charged with custodial interference in the second degree after approaching multiple children at a Waikiki hotel pool, offering them gum and money, and inviting them to his hotel room. The children refused, and Batari was admitted to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation following reports of drug use and a mental health episode, according to his father, Hawaii state Sen. Mike Gabbard.
