Account exchange scam , All progress lost

A friend's Gmail account was hacked during an account exchange scam, resulting in the deletion of his childhood email, loss of a game account with all progress, and erasure of phone data. The scammer exploited mutual trust to steal the account and change recovery information after receiving 3k money and 3-factor authentication details.
