CSPD arrests man after discovering hit-and-run was assault, says police

A man was arrested by the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) after officers determined a hit-and-run incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on July 18 was actually an assault. The incident occurred at around 10 a.m. in the 4700 block of Sand Mountain Point.
