Retired Richmond County K-9 dies after a decade of service

Retired Richmond County K-9 Parker, a bloodhound who served nearly a decade in criminal investigations and search-and-rescue missions, died on July 15, 2025, while living with his handler, Detective Paul McDole. Parker, trained by the FBI and 832 Deputy Dogs, assisted in locating missing persons and supported regional law enforcement agencies throughout his career.
