Widow of deputy killed in LASD grenade explosion files lawsuit against county, sheriff

The widow of a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy killed in a grenade explosion filed a lawsuit against the county, the Sheriff's Department, and officials, alleging inadequate training, unsafe practices, and leadership failures. The complaint was submitted in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
