Homeless woman charged after trying to rob restaurant with garden hoe, police say

A homeless woman was charged with attempted robbery after using a garden hoe during an incident at a Morganton restaurant. Tanya Ward, 51, was arrested and held at the Burke County Jail with a $250,000 bond.
