The National Medical Council (NMC) will stop issuing eligibility certificates for doctors applying for teaching positions in routine cases. Complex cases must now be processed through institutions with a fee of ₹25,000 plus tax, aiming to enhance institutional accountability and reduce administrative load on the Board.
