NMC will no longer issue eligibility certificates to doctors seeking teaching posts in routine cases

The National Medical Council (NMC) will stop issuing eligibility certificates for doctors applying for teaching positions in routine cases. Complex cases must now be processed through institutions with a fee of ₹25,000 plus tax, aiming to enhance institutional accountability and reduce administrative load on the Board.
