Lindsey Graham’s sister Darlene encouraged by Trump to seek full Senate term

Sen. Darline Graham, sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, is being encouraged by President Donald Trump to run for a full six-year Senate term. Graham was appointed to fill her brother's seat until the end of the year, with a Republican primary scheduled for August 11, 2026. Other Republicans, including Rep. Ralph Norman and Mark Lynch, are also seeking the nomination.
