Sudan Readies Lawsuits Against UAE Over RSF Backing in Civil War
Sudan filed a genocide complaint against the UAE at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in March 2025, but the court dismissed it in May 2025 on jurisdictional grounds. Sudan later severed diplomatic relations with the UAE, accusing it of violating sovereignty by backing the RSF in the civil war.
