Pakistan and Kuwait ‘mulling defence pact’
Pakistan and Kuwait are negotiating an expanded defense pact in exchange for energy cooperation and investment, according to Reuters. Kuwait seeks a deal similar to Pakistan's agreement with Saudi Arabia, including military assets, but Pakistan has stated it is not considering deploying combat troops. The talks remain in early stages and could be affected by U.S.-Iran tensions.
