First-degree murder conviction for 2019 torture, poisoning upheld

A man was convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for torturing and poisoning a 23-year-old man, whose body was placed in a suitcase and dumped in the San Francisco Bay. The conviction was upheld by a California appeals court despite challenges to the jury instructions.
