Maryland’s EBT cards are getting ‘tap and go’ upgrades to address theft concerns
Maryland is distributing new chip-enabled EBT cards to 943,000 recipients to combat theft via skimming devices. The cards, which will replace swipe-only versions by September 30, were produced by Fidelity National Information Services.
