The Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Cleveland Guardians game was postponed due to hazardous air quality caused by wildfire smoke from Canada and northern Minnesota. The air quality index reached 203, deemed very unhealthy, with a high-pressure system trapping smoke near the ground. A split doubleheader is scheduled for Saturday to make up the game.
