North Bay Village man accused of leading cops on high-speed, multi-island Mustang chase

Alexander Neil Lawrence, a Toronto-born man, led police on a high-speed multi-island chase in a Ford Mustang, evading officers by making erratic U-turns, running red lights, and reaching speeds of 75-85 mph before being arrested at a Shell gas station on Friday. He faces felony charges of fleeing and eluding and reckless driving, with no drugs found during a K-9 alert check.
