South African rooibos tea seeds head to space

South African rooibos tea seeds will be sent to the International Space Station in October to study their growth in microgravity and space radiation. The experiment, led by the South African Rooibos Council with partners MaxIQ Space and the South African National Space Agency, aims to explore sustainable food production beyond Earth.
