IRGC says it hit US special operations unit in Syria as bombs fall on Iran for sixth night
The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it attacked a US special operations command center in Syria's al-Tanf as retaliation for the killing of Iranian soldiers in Iranshahr. A Syrian military source denied the base was hit, stating no casualties or damage occurred. Bombs have fallen on Iran for six consecutive nights, and this marks the first reported attack in Syria since the US-Israeli conflict with Iran began in late February.
