Naama Asfari, a Sahrawi political prisoner in Morocco, is entering his sixth week of a hunger strike to demand release under UN rulings. He has been detained since 2010 over his involvement in the Gdeim Izik protest camp in Western Sahara, a site of violent clashes with Moroccan security forces in 2010.
