Mother accused of leaving 3 children alone in apartment for years takes plea deal

A Michigan woman, Kelli Bryant, pleaded no contest to three counts of first-degree child abuse for allegedly leaving her three children alone in an apartment without running water for years. Bryant will serve at least six years in prison, and her parental rights were terminated in April. The children did not attend school or leave the apartment during the period.
