Jury rules baby died of natural causes despite nurse’s error in medical tube check
A Hong Kong Coroner’s Court ruled that a premature baby, Angel Yu Pui-fei, died of natural causes despite a nurse’s error in checking a medical tube at Prince of Wales Hospital. The tube delivering medicine remained closed for 30 minutes despite repeated staff checks, but the court determined natural causes were the primary factor in her death.
