Construction worker hit by truck after driver ignored flagger, official says

A construction worker was struck by a truck after the driver ignored traffic direction from a flagger. The driver fled the scene without stopping and made a rude gesture, but another worker obtained the license plate. The injured worker is expected to return to work by Friday.
