Uniform policy for free e-SIM transfer in the works
The Senate Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat is pushing for a uniform policy to allow free e-SIM transfers at least 10 times, with the PTA confirming efforts to standardize telecom operators' policies. The PTA also highlighted progress in 5G deployment, aiming for visible coverage by year-end, and discussed expanding network infrastructure to underserved areas.
