Senior living facility launches ASL program ahead of deaf resident's birthday
Commonwealth Senior Living in Chesterfield is launching an American Sign Language (ASL) program in partnership with Care Advantage. The initiative coincides with a resident's birthday celebration, during which staff will use ASL for the first time to wish her happy birthday.
