‘Who better to care for residents than residents?’ Pontiac residents begin new EMR training program

Star EMS in Pontiac launched an EMR training program to create healthcare career pathways for residents. Twelve participants are learning basic medical skills and emergency vehicle operation, with support from local officials aiming to strengthen community trust in EMS.
