Senate Republicans block Dem attempt to end AI prior authorization in Medicare

Senate Republicans blocked a Democratic attempt to end a Trump administration pilot program using artificial intelligence in Medicare to approve or deny physician-ordered care. A vote to use the Congressional Review Act to terminate the program failed 46 to 50 along party lines.
