Wildfires latest: More than 60,000 acres burned, evacuation zones expanding

Wildfires in northern Minnesota near the Canadian border have burned over 60,000 acres, with 18 active fires and minimal containment. Evacuations affect 6,000–10,000 people in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, and the National Guard has been deployed to assist. Lightning sparked many fires, and smoke has hindered aerial firefighting efforts.
