FHP: Tanker truck driver killed in crash on Florida Turnpike at Bird Road in southwest Miami-Dade

A tanker truck driver was killed in a crash on the Florida Turnpike near Bird Road in southwest Miami-Dade after the truck overturned and collided with a concrete median barrier. Firefighters responded to the scene, where the vehicle was heavily damaged and smoking. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
