Berkeley voters to decide on doubling city's soda tax
Berkeley residents will vote in November on a proposal to double the city's tax on distributors of sugar-sweetened beverages from one cent to two cents per fluid ounce. A citizen-led initiative to implement this change was officially placed on the ballot by the City Council during its regular meeting.
