Mozambique Secures $573 Million Portugal Funding Package to Spur Investment
Portugal announced a €500 million (about US$573 million) credit line to incentivize Portuguese corporate investment in Mozambique during the 6th Portugal-Mozambique summit in Porto in December 2025. The funding is a state-backed de-risking tool, not a direct cash transfer to Maputo.
