Deadline looms for school districts to put property tax measures on the ballot
School districts in L.A. County must decide by August 7 whether to propose property tax measures for November ballots to fund school repairs and upgrades. Bellflower Unified School District has already voted to request a $135 million bond for infrastructure improvements, including new athletic facilities and accessibility upgrades.
