German far-right activist sent to men’s prison despite gender change
German activist Marla-Svenja Liebich, who legally changed gender to a woman in 2024, was extradited to Germany from the Czech Republic and initially placed in a women’s prison before being transferred to a men’s prison. The Saxony Ministry of Justice stated the transfer was decided by experts.
