France and Morocco Prepare Historic Friendship Treaty to Reset Strategic Ties

France and Morocco are preparing a historic friendship treaty, the first of its kind for France with a non-European country and Morocco’s first with a European partner. A €10 billion ($10.9 billion) package from a 2024 state visit includes 22 agreements in rail, green hydrogen, and water.
