Fewer vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz on July 16 as the U.S. reimposed a naval blockade on Iranian ports, with both countries escalating strikes in the Gulf. Shipping data from Kpler showed seven vessels crossing the strait that day, down from 13 the previous day.
