Ex-captain admits drugging, raping US Merchant Marine Academy cadet

John Merrone, a cargo ship captain, pleaded guilty to drugging and sexually assaulting a U.S. Merchant Marine Academy cadet named Jane in September 2019 aboard the Liberty Glory.
