Victories declared after recount fights in Manhattan and Queens Assembly races
Two Assembly candidates declared victory after manual recounts in Manhattan and Queens races. David Siffert led by 15 votes in Manhattan’s 66th District, and Patrick Martinez in Queens’ 30th. Jeannine Kiely conceded after a recount, and Siffert would be the first openly nonbinary person elected to New York state government.
