Robot dogs could soon leave packages at your doorstep — automating delivery's 'final frontier'

Boston Dynamics is testing its robot dog, Spot, to deliver packages by bridging the 'porch gap' between delivery trucks and doorsteps. The robot features a conveyor belt for loading packages and is being evaluated by logistics companies. DoorDash also uses a smaller autonomous robot, Dot, for similar deliveries.
