EU chief announces ‘drone deal’ with Ukraine

EU chief Ursula von der Leyen announced a joint drone production deal with Ukraine to combine Kyiv's battlefield expertise with Europe's industrial capacity. The agreement aims to scale up drone technology development, with Ukraine providing blueprints in exchange for royalties, investments, and military hardware. Ukraine currently produces 10 million drones annually and plans to double output with partner support.
