Fake IT emails target Kerala chitty firms; association seeks police crackdown on cyber fraud

Fraudsters are sending emails impersonating Income Tax officials to Kerala chitty firms, demanding financial records and confidential documents with threats of legal action. The All Kerala Chitty Foremen’s Association has called for a police crackdown on the cyber fraud.
