Pentagon blocks review of F-35 fighter jet project for first time in over 20 years
The Pentagon has blocked the public release of a congressionally mandated annual report on the F-35 fighter jet programme for the first time in over 20 years. Defence Department officials cited the presence of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in the report, which costs $1.6 trillion, as the reason for withholding it.
