Brazil’s Copper Exports Jump 84 Percent, and Washington Cannot Touch Them
Brazil's copper ore and concentrate exports surged 84% to $3.87 billion in the first half of 2026. Iron ore shipments reached $13.4 billion, totaling $17.27 billion for both ores, roughly equivalent to Brazil's sales to the entire United States.
