Vietnam jeweller rattled by ex-official’s arrest over India-Hong Kong gem-smuggling ring
Phu Nhuan Jewellery, Vietnam's largest listed jeweler, is experiencing a crisis as its former gem certification subsidiary head is detained for alleged involvement in a transnational diamond-smuggling ring. The company's shares have dropped over 25% since the early July investigation began.
